Caftan Craze

New designer alert! In one of my various social media binges during quarantine, I came across the most stunning collection of block print caftans from American designer, Sue Sartor. Stoked with caftans, belted dresses, tunics and more – her collection is definitely for bohemians at heart. The patterns of her designs are hand stamped custom woodblock prints made by artisans in Jaipur, India and the colour collections are to-die-for. I reached out to Sue to see if she would be interested in sharing one of her dresses to be styled on the blog and was thrilled when we agreed that the Paloma Dress {shown} in Kumquat would be the perfect dress for the spring/summer season. While the style is shown belted in these photos with the designer’s belt, I’ve also loved using a rope inspired belt or a wide rattan option to cinch the waist.

I had the chance to show off my dress during a shoot with my sis this past weekend where we FINALLY had the chance to link arms (Ontario was just given the green light to hug family haha!)
