Spring
FINALLY decided to show up this past weekend and I took full advantage
of it! I wasn’t quite ready to bust out my peep toe pumps so I opted for
sling backs instead. I also added a layer with my chambray shirt to
make the dress transitional for cooler days and to add some warmth. How
are you transitioning your spring items?

Being a girl with a curvy shaped-figure, I often shy away from boyfriend sweaters. I can’t help but feel like the excess material ~~enhances~~ adds to my curves ;) Despite the fact that I loved this Ily Couture sweater, I was nervous how it would end up looking on me. Enter: skinny pants and sky-high pumps. I feel the combination of this dynamic-duo not only boosted my confidence in sporting the sweater but also added a surprisingly chic element to an otherwise casual wardrobe piece.

As I’m sure you can tell by my pics lately, the weather hasn’t exactly shown signs of spring. So I’m back to layering mixed materials in order to run with spring colours and textures without freezing my tush off! I had hoped to wear this amazing Esther dress solo but it was just too chilly so I opted to wear it as a top with this trench and pencil skirt.
