I still remember the look on Adam’s face when I brought these pants home. “Another pair of those flowered pants? Don’t you have a few already?” he questioned. Sure I do, but none of them look like these ones ;) Please tell me I’m not the only one who has to defend at least 5 pairs of floral print trousers already sitting in the closet. Please.

Variations of this outfit have definitely been on repeat as of late given the time of year. There’s nothing I love more than a cute midi skirt paired with a fitted tee and a jean jacket. This is my ideal type of work wear :) Some days an open-toe sandal seems a bit daring so I love the transitional vibe of these mules to get me through awkward months like April and May. How are you dealing with transitional temps?

Guys, the weather was 0 degrees when we shot this post. I don’t care how crazy I look with snow in the background, I can’t tell how much more of a breeze it is to shoot in 0 than -40! It’s the little things – right?!?!? Here’s to warmer weather and warmer colour palettes! WOOT WOOT!

I had to say yes to this vest. I went on a mad hunt for this number in Toronto only to find every.single.store (and online) had sold out. I had almost lost hope until I had to fly out to Vancouver for work back in October and was floored when I walked into Zara and found an entire rack full of these. I couldn’t help but gush to the cashier on how excited I was. Needless to say, I’m sure she thought I was a bit of a kook but let me know they hadn’t been selling well at all. Isn’t it funny how style can drastically change from one city to the next? This time it definitely worked in my favour!

Summer Beauty with Benefit Cosmetics

If you follow along on Instagram, you’ll know I’ve recently partnered with Benefit Cosmetics to share with you the products I’ve been using from their collection for my summer routine. I’ve been a dedicated fan of They’re Real mascara for years. So naturally, when I was invited to the unveiling of They’re Real Push Up Liner, I was super excited to give it a whirl. I love a cat eye but have always struggled with creating that ‘perfect’ line. This new gel liner makes it oh-so-easy to get that winged look without the rigid lines from shaky hands (please tell me I’m not the only one!).
