Cool Factor

I love the casual-cool factor of this outfit. The length of the dress is perfect for this time of year as it extends past the knee which in my books is enough reason not to need tights unless it’s snowing out. Throw on a moto jacket, fedora and crossbody bag and you’re set for a day at the office or fancy date night with yours truly.

As if the past few posts haven’t made it obvious, I’m sort of obsessing over layered pastel palettes for spring. Don’t get me wrong – I still love me a bold colour-combo for an ensemble but there’s something romantic to be said for these types of colours as the warmer weather approaches. This pink trench has been on some serious repeat over the past two weeks. I love that it’s a tad oversized which plays into the masculine trend but can also be belted for more of a feminine vibe when paired with a dress or pencil skirt. It’s definitely a refreshing take on an age-old spring staple.

This outfit totally put a spring in my step. If you follow along on the blog, you’ll know I have a thing for midi skirts and this baby pink skirt from Windsor Store is a great option for spring. This particular style has an elastic band which can create more of a casual look but is also great if you’re sitting at a desk all day like me and could deal without a zipper sticking into your side ;) These were my two picks from the latest at Windsor Store but the collection is constantly evolving and with such fabulous price points, you can shop guilt free!
