Hello lovelies! Hope everyone had a great weekend! If you’ll recall last week’s post, you’ll know that I had the peasure of appointing and shopping alongside a winner at the Town Shoes #StepIntoTown even this past weekend at the Eaton Centre. Heather with Heather In Heels (how appropriate!) was the lucky lady who scored a $100 gift and an afternoon of treats, styling sessions and more. To say we had our options cut out for us was an understatement. Peep toes, kitten heels and prints galore, we finally narrowed down our choices and I left with this amazing pair from Town Shoes. I totally underestimated how versatile the shade of shoe really is and the chunky heel is going to make a work day in these pumps a breeze. Thanks again to Heather and Town Shoes for an amazing afternoon! xx

Fashion Week is always a hustling and bustling time in Toronto and certainly the perfect excuse to hit the town. In collaboration with Dove Canada, I thought I’d share some snaps from the tent and what I wore to the Mackage show. Scroll down for some snaps from my night at TOFW and what I packed in my bag!

A snap of the final walk at the Mackage show. Is it wrong to wish the cold weather would stick around to get our hands on some of this fabulous outerwear. Ok scratch that, but still. 

A snapshot of what I packed in my bag for last night’s event: lipstick, wallet, keys, tickets and the new Dove Dry Spray in ‘Beauty Fresh’ scent. I literally drove straight from my office to the event and if any of you are familiar with agency life, things can get a bit hairy during your 9-5. A longtime loyal fan of Dove deodorant products, I was excited to try this new take on a product. A quick shake and spritz is all that you need from this bad boy which means the days of trying to reach into the armpit of your shirt (please tell me I’m not the only one too lazy to unbutton for a quick beauty touch up!) and nicking your collar with white residue is over. And since the new Dove Dry Spray product dries instantly (and lasts for up to 48 hours!) , there’s no downtime between work and play. Perfect for the busy girl on the go!

Oops I did it Again

So it dawned on me that I’ve officially bombarded you with two vest looks this week – sorry about that! If you can’t tell, I’m kind of loving this wardrobe item as the perfect transitional piece for spring. I’ve been throwing it over blouses with skinny pants or pencil skirts and bodycon dresses. If you follow along on Instagram, you probably saw the sneak peek I posted of this outfit from the weekend. I had the chance to shoot a small project for Armani with Adam for a new cologne they’ll be launching. I’ve never had the opportunity to work with Adam on a shoot so I was thrilled when we were sent the proposal. Now he knows what it’s like to try and not smile goofy, stand up straight, stick out your chin or remember to hide or swallow your gum (I always forget!). I’ll be sharing a video, some sneak peek photos and an ah-mazing contest in the next coming weeks!

Guys, the weather was 0 degrees when we shot this post. I don’t care how crazy I look with snow in the background, I can’t tell how much more of a breeze it is to shoot in 0 than -40! It’s the little things – right?!?!? Here’s to warmer weather and warmer colour palettes! WOOT WOOT!
