A Day in St. Tropez

Being our first visit to the French Riviera, we knew we wanted to make a stop in St. Tropez for the day. After an almost 3 hour drive (it should have been just under 2) we were hangry, stir crazy and just wanting to get out of the car so we bolted to our first stop: lunch at the Dior Des Lices cafe. A little pricer than most lunch spots but on par with other restaurants in the city, we had an amazing meal that was one of our favourites to date. After that, we strolled the village and walked along the pier gazing at all of the insane yachts casually parked for the day.
Stay tuned for our take on the Riviera including where we stayed, ate and our itinerary!

Sneaker Struggles

Trench: Burberry {Designer Dupe} | Tee: Madewell | Sunnies: Celine {Designer Dupe} | Jeans: Gap {Old, similar here and here} | Sneakers: c/o New Balance | Scarf: c/o RW&CO | Bag: Saint Laurent {Designer Dupe} | Watch: MK | Hat: Old, Similar
We snapped this outfit while running errands on Saturday afternoon around town. I may have been a tad premature on the trench coat and cropped jeans but I figured I offset things with a pom pom hat to keep the warmth from escaping ;) I struggled with incorporating sneakers into a cute weekend look for years but I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of it. I think less bulky and more streamlined style is the easiest option when it comes to putting a girly spin on an otherwise sporty trend :)

Ankle Wrap

Jacket: Banana Republic {last season, similar here and here} | Blouse: H&M {also here and here} | Leggings | Shoes: Nine West Canada {also here} | Sunglasses: Quay | Necklace: c/o Loren Hope | Bag: Saint Laurent {Designer Dupe} | Watch: MK

Peace out January and hello February! While I know this month tends to bring more chills and snowflakes than others, I always can’t help but feel like we’re that one step closer to spring. With a long weekend and a vacation planned, it’s certainly a month I’ve been looking forward to. With spring on the mind, these shoes from Nine West are the perfect transitional look for this time of the year. I’m actually LOVING the ankle wrap aspect and wear it with skirts, cropped pants or even over leggings like shown above.

Pink PANTher

Bomber: Zara {recent, loving this and this} | Blouse: Express {old, similar here and here} | Pants: Ann Taylor {also worn here} | Sunglasses: c/o Bailey Nelson {similar} | Shoes: Christian Louboutin {Dupe for $120} | Bag: YSL {Dupe} | Watch: Michael Kors
Originally spotted in San Fran, I finally got my hands on this bomber while in NYC for Fashion Week. The thought of trying it on was an after thought, it was one of those pieces you just ‘knew’ was coming home with you. I actually haven’t seen it in-store or online in Canada but do keep checking for those who’ve asked. In an event, I’m really loving the bomber style this season, especially when paired with more feminine details like a bow blouse, pink pants or in this case – both ;) I’ve rounded up some embroidered bombers I’m loving and you can shop them below:

Perfectly Pleated

I don’t think there’s anything more chic than pairing an edgy motorcycle jacket (like this one above) with a girly, feminine skirt. The juxtaposition is a recipe for awesomeness and works great for the office but also if you’re headed out for dinner or drinks on the weekend. I’ve got pumps on in this picture but I actually wore these flats while running around the office.

Love n’ Lace

Dress: c/o Eliza J {also loving this and this} | Shoes: Express {also loving this style} | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Bag: Saint Laurent {Dupe under $350} | Bracelet: c/o Julie Vos | Lipstick: Smashbox | Pin: Chanel
Another day, another dress for Krystin ;) This little lace number packs a serious punch. I’m looovvving it with strappy lace pumps for fall but can totally see it with black opaque tights and metallic pumps or ankle booties. Be sure to scoop it up soon – sizes seem to be running out fast!

Spring Uniform

Moto Jacket: Old, Loving this and this via Nordstrom | Blouse: Madewell via Nordstrom {also loving this on sale} | Jeans: J Brand via Nordstrom {Dupe pair here for $65} | Shoes: Steve Madden via Nordstrom | Sunglasses: Karen Walker via Nordstrom | Bag: Saint Laurent via Nordstrom | Watch: Michael Kors via Nordstrom

I think I’ve got my spring uniform down to a science: mix one cropped moto jacket with a striped blouse and add a pair of cropped jeans ;) I love a light wash, distressed jean for spring and this pair from Nordstrom have always done the trick. A purchase from last year, I was pumped to see them front and centre on the Nordstrom Denim Report for spring of 2016. Although I must say, the kick flare look has also got me intrigued. I love the cropped style paired with lace up pumps (another fav trend from spring) like this Steve Madden pair. What trend are you most excited for this spring?

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own :)

Embellished

Beanie: c/o Express | Coat: c/o Eliza J {25% off right now!} | Shirt: J Crew Factory | Jeans: AG | Shoes: Christian Louboutin {similar} | Bag: Saint Laurent | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Watch: Michael Kors | Ring: c/o Melanie Auld | Cuffs: c/o Jet Set Candy, Melanie Auld

This outfit has all the makings to be a hit: embellished tee, bright-coloured coat, pom pom hat and cuffed skinny jeans :) I don’t think it gets any better than this! Hope everyone has a great day and we’ll see you in 2016. And on that note: I want to extend a special thank you to those who’ve followed along throughout the year (and years past). SFP would not be what it is today without all of you and your support XO

Bold N’ Blue

Coat: c/o Yumi Kim | Blouse: c/o Windsor Store | Skirt: Ann Taylor | Shoes: Christian Louboutin {similar} | Bracelets: c/o Loren Hope | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Bag: Saint Laurent | Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington | Earrings: c/o Windsor Store

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good bow blouse and this one is no exception. I love the frills on the collar for that extra feminine detail. Pair it with a fuzzy jacket and sleek pencil skirt and you’ve got a slam dunk in my opinion ;) Hope everyone has a great week!
