We’re currently sipping smoothies at Norma’s at the Parker in Palm Springs working on a fun project with Lincoln. I’m LOVING the warm weather here and couldn’t help but bust out this combo I’ve been sitting on for a few weeks in Toronto waiting for spring to finally show up. This one shoulder top is darling for spring and summer – I love it with high waisted pants or a pencil skirt at the office – so chic!

Date Night Attire

I wore this before heading out to dinner last weekend. We’ve become obsessed with the restaurant, The French, in Hamilton. With great cocktails, tasty French-ish cuisine and a swanky scene – we haven’t been disappointed yet. 
I was also super pumped to bust out these high-rise jeans from Madewell. A few girls from work raved about how much they loved their denim and I’d actually never tried them on. These are the 9″ rise and I have to say, I really like the cut and the fit. The length was a tad long for my preference so I gave the jeans a raw hem with a pair of scissors but aside from that – I’m definitely a fan. And at $135 – you can’t go wrong ;)

Snow Day

We had the most amazing snow day on Sunday this past weekend. With most plans cancelled for the day, Adam and I drove around a winter wonderland and took advantage of empty local shops, trying out new cafe’s and a fun walk in the snow. With a few weeks of winter left, I’ve been avoiding shopping sweaters and bulking items as much as possible and remixing items from the season as best as possible. This sweater was a favourite purchase from the fall and continues to be in heavy rotation for those chilly winter days.

Peace out January and hello February! While I know this month tends to bring more chills and snowflakes than others, I always can’t help but feel like we’re that one step closer to spring. With a long weekend and a vacation planned, it’s certainly a month I’ve been looking forward to. With spring on the mind, these shoes from Nine West are the perfect transitional look for this time of the year. I’m actually LOVING the ankle wrap aspect and wear it with skirts, cropped pants or even over leggings like shown above.

Bell Sleeves

You guys – the sleeves on this sweater are insane. I think I’ve worn it at least 3 times a week for the past three week – can’t stop, won’t stop. I love how it’s super cas when paired with jeans but I’ve paired this with a black leather skirt and tights with ankle boots for a super chic and cozy office look. I scored mine at Zara for $49 but I’ve also linked to some budget friendly options above.
