I missed out on this style of shirt from a few season’s back at J Crew and was thrilled when I recently found it at the factory store for over half the price ;) It’s definitely more of a boxy fit than shirts I typically pick out for myself but the sequins immediately sold me and there was no turning back. |

Love this bold and bright dress for first thing on a Monday morning! Just a heads up size wise, this is a S and still needed to be altered around the waist since it was a looser fit. That aside, kind of obsessed with the fun print and fit (once altered) for the perfect wear-to-work dress! |

Friday wear around the office can be tricky. I often find myself watching the clock down to 5pm so I can dash out the door and head into the city to meet hubby for a cocktail before dinner reservations. This typically means that donning the typical casual Friday gear (jeans, a tee and sneakers!) isn’t always an option when there’s dinner date to follow. I love this outfit which works great in creating more of a casual vibe for Friday around work (especially if you’re in a super corporate setting Monday to Thursday) but also fits in just great with a downtown vibe for date night. What do all of you have planned for the weekend? |

Sharing a peek at what I wore to date night on the weekend with the hubby. I recently snagged this blazer at Zara and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve styled it open here but I’ll also style it buttoned up with a lace cami underneath and black skinny pants. I definitely recommend if you’re on the hunt for that perfect white blazer this summer ;) |

I wore this skirt in February and had nearly forgotten about it until I was purging some items in my closet this weekend. (Don’t you love it when that happens?!) I love the print on this skirt since you can really play up the dark hues in colder months but the pastels make it transition well into spring and summer. |

Now that the snow has melted and temperatures are
for the most part guaranteed to be above 0, Canadians everywhere are packing up their boots and pulling out their spring and summer footwear. Sure, we may get a teensy bit excited a little early in the game but when all you’ve known is snow and frost for the past 6 months, you’ll take what you can get.
Since it seems like eons ago since we last wore
anything that doesn’t resemble a boot, it may be time for a warm weather refresh in your closet. Given the winter white movement that so many seemed to love, I gravitated to these white drivers which will work great with all of the red, white, blue and cognac accents in my wardrobe.
And what’s any spring getup without the perfect
trench? I love how this navy jacquard style differs from your traditional trench for spring but still acts as a great neutral item in your wardrobe so it pairs easily with different patterns, colours and fabrics.
Whether you’re looking to put some spring in your
step or spruce up your outerwear, Johnston & Murphy has some great options for the new season.
