Yes, the temperatures were in the high 30s this weekend. Yes, it was extremely hot sporting this dress in the blistering heat. Yes, it was necessary because of how adorable this dress is! Part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, this was one of those must-have items. I’ll be honest, the sleeve detailing feels quite ‘trendy’ in my opinion and shorten the shelf life of this dress but given the deal I got on it, I’m happy with the price I paid. It feels a little ambitious for this season, but come fall/winter, I can see this easily becoming a weekly staple.

With summer weather – sort of – upon us, I’ve been pulling out all the stops on white dresses for the office. I fully admit I have another dress that is similar but the collar and flutter sleeve really make this style stand out to me. I really love that this dress looks super cute with flats too (my new commuter favourites for taking the train in and out of the city).

I’m all for those feminine, girly moments and this item is no exception! I adore this fitted dress from Chicwish paired with other neutrals. Perhaps a little fancy for the office but for special occasions or an upcoming event, it’s the perfect pairing.

With a new work week ahead (and my first full one of 2019!), I wanted to share a must-have pencil skirt I scored at my local Nordstrom. First of all, there’s an elastic waist (winning!) and then the trumpet flare by the hem – so so good! And then of course, there’s the price. At only $49, I love that it’s going to make for a great winter wardrobe piece and the perfect transitional item as well.

I find it comical how everyone keeps saying ‘Leopard is back this season’… because in my books… it never went out! I recently picked up this leopard print dress with so many outfit options in mind While it certainly seems to pull off a more polished look that calls for pumps, I paired it with cap toe flats one weekend and a high pony tail and was loving the vintage vibes I was getting from it.
