Cat Lady

Cat Eye Sunglasses {New fav eyewear brand!} | Bangles: c/o Julie Vos
Despite the blog title, I have to admit, I’m not a cat lady. I’m actually not even a dog person at that – but I couldn’t resist the title after this furry friend showed up during our photoshoot. In fact it was so friendly, it wouldn’t get out of the way for most of the snaps we had to take. While I’ll be kicking and screaming about the weather from now till May of 2019, busting out fun coats like this make me feel much better about bundling up in fun fabrics and textures.
This was a coat I snagged 2 or 3 years ago and have worn every season since. Which is also an indicator that animal print isn’t going anywhere so if you haven’t invested in one yet this season, I highly recommend you do while there’s plenty of options. I think it’s such a chic statement and requires minimal items to pair with it for a bold look!

Red Fall Jacket

Navy Work Pants | Red Suede Shoes: c/o Boden {similar here}
Navy Briefcase Bag: c/o GiGi New York | Sunglasses: Karen Walker
One of the must-have items on my wish list for this fall season was a red jacket. Since I had already found a cropped version for fall and winter, I had assumed my shopping was done until I came across this number from Boden. The pattern, fabric and length immediately won me over. While I typically stay away from patterned coats for the fall/winter season (I find them difficult to match and a statement coat is always remembered and hard to re-wear), the oversized houndstooth pattern here seemed easy to mix and match and was generic enough that I could mix into different looks without it standing out. Be sure to keep an eye out for more looks with this item before winter shows up!

Major Swoon

If you haven’t noticed this brand on the blog before, I’m expressing my love for the Boden brand from the UK. Their whimsical designs, chic lines, bold colours and figure flattering collections won my heart over last year and I haven’t stopped eyeing their items since. This wine hued midi dress was a must have when I saw it on the site a few weeks back. I LOVE the wrap belt for a flattering line but the length is also great for pumps, booties and even knee length booths – swoon!

Charmed, I’m Sure

Thomas Sabo Stacking Rings: c/o Gold Band | c/o Dots Ring | c/o Green Stone Ring

There’s no denying my affection for gold jewellery. From watches to signet rings and everything in between, I’m obsessed and have been for some time now. I think it’s safe to say gold jewellery is beyond a trend and here to stay, I’ve been investing more and more into pieces that I can mix and match with my current collection and hold onto for year’s to come. A particular item I’ve never had the chance to replace was a charm bracelet I used to wear in sterling silver.

When Thomas Sabo reached out and let me know their Charm Collection has recently expanded and included various gold items, I was intrigued. Some of my personal favourites included this ring and this ring for stacking. I also added various charms to my bracelet for a chunkier and more filled in look. I love stacking this with like coloured bangles such as yellow or orange for a fun look in summer.

I’m also loving that the charms are interchangeable and can be added to their extensive collection of necklaces and other charm bracelets. I’ve officially joined the Charm Club this summer – will you?
