A little unsure of the choker trend, I’m kind of loving this style from Windsor Store. I’ll admit, I’m still struggling on what to pair it with but love it with this off-the-shoulder top pictured above.

In anticipation of next week’s travel plans to NYC, it feels like my weeknights have been jam packed lately as we cross all our errands off our list. This dress was the perfect throw-on and run out the door solution for a jam-packed week. It’s been over 3 years since we’ve been to New York and I’m the first to admit, I’m out of touch! Any recos on where to eat, cafe’s to visit or shops to hit up would be greatly appreciated! Also – any tips on Brooklyn?? We’re trying to plan a day trip :) #newbies lol!

If you haven’t noticed, I have a bit of a thing with long vests this summer. I love how it instantly adds an element of chic to anything from a pencil skirt or a pair of jeans. I do love the particular style of this vest but being partially linen, has a tendency to wrinkle. This can be a pain point for some but I kind of like the rugged appearance of linen and it’s worth embracing in the warmer temps.

With so much of the industry nodding to minimalism, I’ve definitely taken cues in the way I’ve been dressing and and accessorizing this year. Swapping embellished necklaces for dainty pendants and chunky rings for dainty gold jewels was uneasy at first but now seems to come as second nature. Don’t get me wrong – I still love an rhinestone bib – but come 4pm at the office when your neck feels like it’s being weighed down … may have you rethinking these styles.

That’s why I’ve become obsessed with Three Sweet Beads as of late. This curated collection of bracelets, earrings, rings and necklaces is the perfect touch of dainty and girly. I sported the X Ring and Olivia Ring on Instagram earlier this week and got so many comments and emails from readers asking about these two styles. Don’t you love finding items you thought you’d lost? I was going through boxes in the basement and found this in one labelled, ‘Office’ from our move in April. I did a happy dance and then proceeded to check the pockets for loonies or twoonies :) No dice but I was definitely happy to find this hidden gem once again!

You’ve probably noticed by now that I tend to shy away from beauty-related posts on the blog. While I’m a product junkie like any other lady, I’m a tad shy in my ability to properly apply makeup and act as an ‘expert’ on the matter providing advice to others. But when I do come across something I think is worth sharing, I think it’s worth it to bare it all :) I recently stumbled across a new beauty line (at least, to me), Aromi Cosmetics, and I’m in love. With every product made in small batches within their lab, the collection is also vegan and cruelty free.


Being a fan of a bold lip, I decided to opt for the liquid lipstick in Flamenco Red and I was SO impressed. The product goes on like a lip gloss but soon dries into a matte colour that actually lasts. And lasts as in applied it early afternoon and after date night it was still going strong! I decided to bust it out for today’s blog post along with the ‘Frost‘ mineral eye shadow. If you’re a fan of a bright pink lip, I suggest the Electric Orchid liquid lipstick – stunnah!
