Velvet Blazer

Not only do I love fall because it encourage me to incorporate darker colours I’d never dream of wearing (cough cough red, black, brown) but it also introduces so many new textual fabrics for our wardrobes. Much like linen or seersucker, I find myself often limiting fabrics like velvet or corduroy to the fall/winter months. This velvet blazer was a piece that totally caught my eye in store. Not only did it strike me as the perfect party piece but I also felt that with a pretty subdued look (black and white tones), it could definitely be office appropriate. Enter the leopard jumpsuit and voila: my new workwear look for the week!
