Floral Fanatic
There’s always one event of the year that marks the start of fall and dahlia flower picking at Andrew’s Scenic Acres is that for us. Granted, the season started much earlier this year, but it was the perfect opportunity to get to the countryside and visit our local farms. I’ll be the first to admit that strolling through floral fields in a silk shirt dress was a very, very bad idea but to my defence, we had alternate plans that did not include trekking through mud ;) I wouldn’t suggest it for floral picking but I did love it for a day of errand running. I paired it with simple flats here but have worn it with mules, block heels and slides. I love that I can throw on a sweater cardigan in fall to transition it to the next season too!
