So I’ve officially embraced the fact that this summer is going to be one hot and humid situation and I need to get on board with a topknot whether I like it or not. Truth be told, I’d wear my hair in beach waves everyday if I could but with such a busy schedule this summer and rain in the forecast almost everyday this week, this is my only chic alternative. For those who have been asking lately, I do cheat mine with one of those sponge donuts to make it appear more full – I find if I style a bun without it the bun is too small and just doesn’t work with my oversized head lol!
I do however, love pairing a topnot with fun earrings and off the shoulder blouses – like this one. I feel like it totally plays up the décolletage and add a chic element to the overall look.
