Ask any Canadian girl about the art of winter layering and they’ll probably tell you it starts with their winter jacket. Despite asking ourselves ‘Why do we live here’ year after year, we put ourselves through the torture of another insane winter that requires layering from head to toe. Thankfully in recent years, outerwear companies have been making it easier to make a statement in a coat that not only keeps you warm but also brings a unique utilitarian vibe to one’s #OOTD.
Designed in honour of extreme rescue missions often called, “
Parajumpers” the brand is designed by Italian founder, Massimo Rossetti. The utilitarian design can be found in items such as the hooks or parachute clips on the coat – hopefully something I’ll never have to use on the streets of Toronto ;)
While I don’t foresee any rescue missions in the near future, I can appreciate the design of the
Parajumpers coat. The down-filled coat is extreme warm for those frigid days and features a removable hood. I also appreciate the side vents for a more comfortable take on the jacket and can exude a more casual vibe depending on the look you’re going for. Overall – I dig the look, design and the warmth factor so if you’re currently researching your next winter jacket, be sure to read more about the brand and view their
