Belted Bow

Working in a corporate environment always leaves me on the hunt for the perfect dress. I find dresses help eliminate the age-old Monday morning panic statement, “I have nothing to wear!” (Girls you know we’ve all been there.) The dress came with a white belt but with hopes of adding a personal touch, I swapped it for a pink belt and added this adorable bow from Bow Me Up.


I’m even considering wearing this dress to the 155th Queen’s Plate event. For my American gals, you could say this is the Canadian (ok more like Ontario) version of the Kentucky Derby ;) Red carpets, Derby hats and mint juleps are on the menu and I’m so excited to be attending for the first time (eek!). So what do you think – is this Derby appropriate? Or should I look for something a tad fancier?
