What I’m hoping to find at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Oh yes my friends, it’s that time of the year again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening and it’s officially live. I’m actually pumped to shop the sale in-store tomorrow night with my sister. To be completely honest, online shopping has lost its appeal to me and getting to try on coats, jackets and shoes IRL means I can go home with items I can wear immediately rather than having to wait a week or two ;)

A recap of trends I’m looking for:

Printed Coats: I’ve spent years collecting coats in neutral shades and am so ready for a boldly printed coat. I’ve had my eye on this pink plaid coat or this emerald green option. A bit more casual, I also love this shacket.

Quilted Exteriors: I fell in love with quilted coats last season and was very pumped to see them return for Fall/Winter 2021-22. I love this option from Balfour and in emerald green.

Moto Jackets: A new-hue to me, green is a shade I would have never reached for ahead of 2021. With so many stunning blouses, dresses and skirts released in variations of sage green this summer, it’s left an impression on me. I fell in LOVE with this leather jacket from All Saints and at the top of my list, I’m REALLY hoping I can find it in-store tomorrow! For reference, I have another leather jacket from the brand and can attest to the quality of the shape and leather from the brand. I was also happy to see another favourite suede moto of mine, make its return in 2021.

Preppy Vibes: I’ve got tennis skirts, rugby shirts and classic sneakers in carts across the web but this option from Free People immediately won me over.

Cult Beauty Favs: I’m also using this sale to stock on some of my favourite beauty products like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Set, Better Than Sex Mascara and this perfume set from Diptyque.
